In La Couronne, part of the municipality of Martigues, Camping Marius welcomes you to the heart of the Calanques of the Côte Bleue, on the Mediterranean coast. Established in 1963 and family-run for three generations, our independent 3-star campsite cultivates the spirit of a simple, natural, authentic, and deeply Provençal place.

Here, your holiday begins in the pine forest. From the campsite, a private gate leads directly to the beaches and calanques via a path of approximately 200 meters, without crossing any roads. You walk among the pines, thyme, and rosemary, and then the Mediterranean appears: clear waters in shades of turquoise, azure, or deeper blue, luminous limestone rocks, and that rare feeling of being somewhere else entirely, almost at the ends of the earth.

After basking in the sun, swimming in the clear waters, or simply enjoying the tranquility of the campsite, everything remains close by for exploring the Côte Bleue. The village and train station of La Couronne are about a 15-minute walk away; Carro, Sausset-les-Pins, and Carry-le-Rouet naturally extend your walks between harbors, beaches, and Mediterranean landscapes.

The intimate Camping Marius offers accommodations as well as pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes, and campervans. On-site, Le Restô du Marius restaurant, a grocery store, and the La Bulle wellness area complement the rhythm of your holiday: a morning coffee, a walk to the beach, lunch under the pine trees, a moment of relaxation, and then the gentle evening in the pine forest.

Where is Camping Marius located?

Camping Marius is located in La Couronne, on the Côte Bleue, by the Mediterranean Sea.

Our campsite is located in La Couronne, in the commune of Martigues, right in the heart of the calanques of the Côte Bleue.

La Couronne, a seaside resort on the Côte Bleue, is about 14 km from the town centre of Martigues. Our village enjoys a natural setting, oriented towards the Mediterranean, the beaches and the calanques.

It is an ideal setting for swimming and discovering a preserved and unspoilt coastline.

Calanques, crystal-clear waters and superb sandy beaches promise long hours of swimming, relaxation and idleness.

Martigues stretches between the Mediterranean, calanques, villages and the canals linked to the Étang de Berre, offering visitors landscapes that are as typical as they are varied.

Martigues is located approximately 15 minutes from the Marius campsite.
